Texte :

Sarah’s Day Out

Sarah is a 12-year-old girl who lives in a small town called Greenfield. Last Saturday, she had a great day out with her family. In the morning, they went to the park and played football together. Sarah’s little brother, Jack, loves playing football, so they always have fun when they go to the park.

After that, they visited the zoo. Sarah’s favorite animals are monkeys, so she was very excited to see them. They also saw lions, tigers, and elephants. It was an amazing experience for Sarah.

In the afternoon, they went to a pizza restaurant for lunch. Sarah loves pizza, especially with lots of cheese and pepperoni. After lunch, they went shopping and bought some new clothes for Sarah and Jack.

By the time they got home, Sarah was very tired but happy. She had a wonderful day with her family.

Le présent simple est utilisé pour décrire des actions habituelles, des vérités générales et des états permanents. Voici un résumé des règles et des exemples pour vous aider à comprendre et à utiliser le présent simple correctement :

Formation :

  • Pour les verbes réguliers, ajoutez simplement « -s » à la troisième personne du singulier (he, she, it).
    • Exemple : I play → He plays
  • Pour les verbes irréguliers, la troisième personne du singulier a souvent une forme différente.
    • Exemple : I go → He goes

Exemples :

  1. I play football every weekend.
  2. She likes to read books.
  3. He goes to school by bus.
  4. We eat breakfast at 7 o’clock.
  5. They watch TV in the evening.

Utilisation :

  • Actions habituelles :
    • Exemple : She plays tennis every Saturday.
  • Vérités générales :

Exceptions :

  • Pour les verbes qui se terminent déjà par « -s », « -x », « -sh », « -ch » ou « -o », ajoutez « -es » à la troisième personne du singulier.
